"The origin of Amadeus was an old wish of celebrating Mozart, but the piece is not, in fact, just about Mozart. It is also about Salieri. It's about the nature of the sense of injustice of a man," said Peter Shaffer in 1992 . in Amadeus, theater, music and historical fiction intersect and there are many paths opened by the urge for revenge of a man, Antonio Salieri (Diogo Infante), composer of the Austrian court in the eighteenth century, in respect of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Ivo shins), living proof that "music is the art of God."

From Pushkin rivalry that developed between the two composers Mozart and his work in Sallieri (1831) and that inspired the stage version of Peter Shaffer, Tim Carroll enacts the conflict between virtuous mediocrity and genius futile.
