Programme - A casa é nossa

Memory is a place of listening and future; through history and stories, we wish to rethink the physical and emotional geography of this house. We will start with a conversation between black people from the academic and artistic world, thinking together about the importance of alliances and ways to break with canons and oppressions of the artistic environment. The party can be a place of healing and care, and to celebrate our ancestry we will share a ‘cachupada’ (traditional Cape Verdean dish). To finish, we have invited a group of drummers, who with their songs and dances will take us on a journey where the past and the presente merge.
