Achas para a fogueira plays out in some future time. Two friends meet in a forest. Michel, seated on a tree trunk, listens to Taylor tell the story of everything that has happened to him in the two previous years (Michel hasn’t keep up with his old friend as he’s joined a deep-mindfulness group, a kind of ashram of the future). Taylor tells his story by means of a small device that allows him to project his memories in front of him, a device called ‘mnemoprojector’. It should also be explained that during these two years Taylor founded a party, ‘Platform of Context and Modality’, which began as a kind of semi-serious, semi-poetic joke, but has rapidly become so popular, as meteorically as it was unexpected, that it has propelled him to the very door of power.
So, what will happen now? Will they be steamrolled by the media and the opposition’s acts of bad faith? Will they manage to remain faithful to their ideals? Will they discover resources both mysterious and super powerful while walking in the forest? Will they find a new and revolutionary school of magic?
